PETONE and HUTT ST. JOHN AMBULANCE DIVISION.

The fortnightly.meeting of the above Division was held in th^e Room. Petone Recreation Gruond,, on' JVf on day the 22nd in at, Superintendent A. Black presiding..

It was very satisfactory to see th# live -interest taken by the*members in the work of the Division throughout the Winter months. Like all other voluntary organisations, the chief point discussed was, of eorarse, finance, and many were, the methods discussed. We get some help in this direction from the various Exporting Associations but as this is all absorbed in the procuring of bandages, and the many other things le^rnied for efficient PiTSt Aid, other sources have to be "tapped "to. procure funds for the purpose of getting uniforms," etc.

With this object in view, a concert is being held in the Empire Theatre, Petone. on Monday Otober 6th, where it is hoped that the citizens of -that sporting community; and of the Lower Hutt, will answer that very deserving call.
