RUGBY NOTES.

Members and supporters are again reminded that the Smoke Concert will ibe held this Saturday (the 27th inst). Mr A. Black is arranging the major .part o*f the programme, having secured the services of eight artists from the city. It is al.=o probable that the Maori Instrumentalists from Petone will assist. Mr. W. Nash, M.P.. -will be present during the evening. To ensure the function being a financial success it is essential that all members attend.

We beg to acknowledge with thanks a donation of £1/1/- from Major. T. J.

King.
