The Hon. Secretary of tlie Bed Cross Committee wishes to acknowledge with warm thanks many gifts last week and this week, from Petone, Lotvot Hurt and Lowry Bay, the residents of all these districts being truly kind, and it must please them to know that applications from each ono of the ajbove mentioned districts this week have been received all of whom it was possible to help, exjcept with men's wear.
