The September number of St. James's * ' Parish. News,'' was placed in the hands of the distributors during last week-end and will be found to be of great interest to all persons connected with the work of the parish. In addition to the reports of, the many church activities in the varioias parts of the parish, there is a report of an interesting' interview with the tary of the Freewill Offering System who giyes some illuminating facts and figures connected with tie finance® of the parish. There, are also several short articles of general reading, embracing such-matters of interest as

the '' League of Xations," t{ Excavations in Palestine.'' and an expression of opinion taken from the pen of the "Doleful Dean." The publication, which, nasa wide circulation, is be\ coming extremely popular and should do much to link up the various infer--ests in the'large parish. NThe excellent steel engraving of St. James's CSrareh on the cover, adds considerably to the appearance of this bright little journal.
