ASSOCIATION DANCES.
The slogan "Associate with Association Dances" has certainly caught om as, despite the advaning season, theree are yet no signs of slacking off in the* attendances at these foirtnightly ftmetions. -•'-.
Perhaps in one respect the term, "Association Dance" is misleading!, conveying, as it may, to some the impression that it is a dance frequented by Soccer players and supporters only.. Such an idea wo*ld be distinctly erroneous however, as at few other .similar functions could such a fraternising of sports be met with.; Eugby, hockey, cricket, tennis, etc.—in fact ; all branches o^. sport, are wrelj represtentd and it is this nappy co-mingling/of. all sections in the lighter pursuit of dancing that is one of the Ikest pleuting features of Association Dance?.
Prize-winners at the last AMoeiation function iaclnded the Missesi X Johtr stoi^ T?. lifixpn and Messrs y. Edlin and BL Bnshby.
