PLUNKET SOCIETY.

TAITA BUB-COMMITTEE.

The Taita Plunket Smb-Commititee held their usual monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 26th. Those present were Mesdames H. Foley (president), A. Clegg, E. L. Fuge, I. Wilson, F. KitcJiener, D. McArthux and P. B. Martin (hon. secretary). Itfrs "W. J. Johnstone's name was add«ed to those already on the committee. .

The nurses report was read; and was considered very satisfactory.

It waa decided to hold a "Bring and Buy "afternoon in the supper room of theTaita Public Hall on September 13th

for the purpose of augmenting the funds of the society. It was. also agreed to make the event partly social and with this end in view competitions have been arranged for with attractive prizes. _ A jolly time may be looked forward to by all intending patrons.
