At the annual meeting of the Plunket Society on Thursday evening, Mrs.J. McCaw referred most feelingly to the excellent work performed by Mrs. Hoggart who had been obliged to retire from the .office of secetary, owing to ill health. Mrs. Hoggard had pioneered the' work of the Plunket Society in the Lower Hutt and the work had progressed under her management. We will all miss her bright personality" said Mrs. MeCaw, ''and we wis& her a speedy return to health". A motion of appreciation of the services of Mrs. Hoggard and the wish for her improved health was carried by acclaimation.
