MISSING EASTBOURNE MAN

TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

But for the dogs of Mr Allan Cameron Mr Erie Hitchcox, who had been missing from Ms home at Eastbourne since eight o 'clock on Tuesday morning of last ■week, }might still be lost. A search party consisting of Mr Allan Cameron and Mr Harry Uones, with some of Mr Cameron's dogs, found him about 4.45 p.m. the following day.

The dogs discovered him in the bush and off the track behind Perry Road, Day's Bay, not far from his home.

He was sufFering from the effects of the exposure as well as from the influenza from which he was recovering when he disappeared; and was taken to Wellington Hospital. .
