T\he weekly ", 500 '■ evenings held in the school each Monday have been a marked success this season, both socially and in regard to attendance. Patrons may rest assured that the committee will endeavour to maintain and improve tlifc standard set in the past,' in order that these eyenings may be a social feature of the district. The prizes on. Monday evening "were won by Mrs Gunn and Mrs Hunter.and Mr. Welsh and Mr. Ord. A progressive uchre evening is also -held each Tirors-
day evening.
