DO YOU DRINK ENOUGH?
It is said that.tile majority women 3o not drink enough water. Large quantities,of tea are taken, but. as this., is often sti-ong and .stewed it is detrimental to health. A large amount of fluid is required by the body and this is best taken between meals and in the form of plain water. If everyone!- would, •jnake it a practice'to dr^nk J?, glass s , ofwater before breakfast, 'another; in the . middle of the morniugy another in, the • afternoon or evening, and another at, .bedtime there would.be an enormous im- • prdverhent; in health.' Many of the tiresome Title ills from which we suffer would : disappear and there would be fax more •rose and lily complexions. Cold water is :a wonderful cleanser of the blood,, and (if taken regularly will cure blotchy skins land pimples. In cold weather it may be j 'found that cold water is.too chilly. Don't give up the water cure, however, but drink hot water instead. In fact, after a hpt bath or a meal it is better ■ to;' etrink hot wafer, not ;cold. To give variety to your glass of water add the juice of ~ yorange or the unsweontened juice pf alemon sometimes. Barley water, slightly sweetened and flavoured' with lemon, is a veiy healthy and pleasant drink. If, in addition to the wafer habit, you also eat plenty of fresh fruit every day, especially, apples,'oranges and'grapefruit, your looks will be wonderfully - improved
