"THE COCKEYED WORLD"

Raoul Walsh's most recent directorial effort, "The Gock Eyed World,'* an all talking Pox Movietone picture^ offers first rate entertainment with special voftrst rate entertainment with special v-o----picture emphasises Walsh's versatility, la; fact, we believe it to be one of the season's outstanding productions.

It's keynote is the continual -battle •hetoween Flagg and Quirt of "What Price Grlory" fame. Their love affairs fnrovoke a series of laughs, in fact, some of the. situations were so -amusing that the aunlience howled. There is a consistent balance of pathos and well sustained tensely human situations. We advise you to see it for it is one entertaining production one should not ■miss. And of course our old friends Vie McLagien and Ed Lou'o are Plagg and Quirt respectively. We enjoyed them more, in this production than we did in "Grlory" because we hear everything that this colourful pair of "leathernecks" say about ea<?h other and

joijt leave it" to a pair of hard "boiled marines to wisecrack.

Sparkling Lily Damita is thceharmer who intrigues them in the tropics; Lelia Karhoy' makes life sweet for them in Biissiaj and Jean Bary has the boys fighting over iher in Coney Island. We •repeat "The Cock Eyed World" is one •picture you must see.
