A DISAPPOINTMENT.
A Scot entered the famous RdtzHotel in London, followed by his five children. They sauntered into the gorgeous lounge andtook their 7 seats beside a table. A sumptuous waiter came, rap, to. take their orders. To his. amaaseiaent tihe iSteiot ordered a 'bottle of lemonade and, six glasses 1 Stunned by tihis surprising demand, the waiter went off and 'brought the things required. •'Open t^ie bottle/ 1 said the visitor. .Then Jbtg pouwd -out.a ijtilo of ±tii^iem%nat¥!int6 lacli *o£ *&&dvx ] glasses, and, taking out a -bag of ipejiny buns, gave one to eacjh of tie ! children, and kept one if or himself. This was too ttraeli for the (Waiter, wha went off and reported to t>W manager. That important personage arrived on the scene and sternly presently himself to the visitors. I "I 'm the manager,* 7 he aaid severely. ; ' 'Aw, so you 're the "manager? Weel, wihy then is the "band not p3aying?"
