Out of respect to the late Mr. Tunley the St. James's social to have been held ilast Wednesday was postponed and will .bo -held on. Tuesday afternoon, Ist July. .All ■ communicants of St. _ James's Church are asked, to attend tie 8 o 'clockservice on Sunday morning next in memory of the late ehuTch warden, Mr Francis Tunley. ' On Saturday afternoon Mr. O. Kesst operated a radio loud speaker on the Recreation Ground, giving •a» full description of All Boack v. Great Britain anateh at Dumedin. Mr. Feis^t is the local agent for a weli known make of radio , and willl broadcast the future test games on, the local ground. Thje service was mucih appreciated by those who were present.
