Bito.«si, £2; K. Cable £.]; K. Orr £2; Mrs P. Mill* £1. H. Exton, for riding a bicycle on the footpath was fined 10/- and costs 157-. Hiding their bieycle.s through Moera Reserve cost L. Smith. E. 80-tv,-J. ■Kilmartin, M. S. Cooper each 10/- and costs 15/-. For riding a bicycle at night without a light A. Brqckley was convicicd and fined 15/- and costs 15/-. E. J. Evaiis and A. V. .Collins r mldidriving their motor lorries of more than two tons over Melting Suspensioi Bridge,, were each convicted and finod £3 and costs 15/-. ■ On a charge of dangerous drivrag over the main Hutt bridge/ R. Charles was convicted and fined £4 and , costs .15/-. "I plead guilay although I am not quite clear as to what I did wrong " said deferidant in a letter to the Court. H. Gray and C. Hannah, for riding their bicycles on the bitumen were each convicted and _ fined 10/- and costs 15/-. Leo Chung for speeding was fined £1 and costs 15/- and fot a similar offence K. Bigham;was fined £2 and costs 15/-. For faj'ling to keep to. the left J. Fletcher was fined £2 and costs 15/-. For speeding across a' bridge H. K. Pearce was fined £2 and costs 15/-. Judgment for plaintiff by default ■was given in the following civil cases: A. G. Toohey v. H. Bates, £9/19/6j O'Brien and Bransfield v. W. J. Hoarc £6/0/6. ■
