METHODIST WOMEN'S MISSIONARY AUXILIARY.

The Lawer Hutt Methodist Women's Missionary Auxiliary held an enjoyable Gift Afternoon for. the Soiemons on Wednesday 10th inst. Despite bad weather there were twenty-three iadies present. The President, Mrs Badlantyne, opened the meting-and a short businss session, was held. Miss M. Crawford sang and further songs were given by Mesrames Aldersley, Hall and Johnstone Mrs Sharp played, the accompaniments and Miss Enid Saunders recited. A dainty afternoon tea was served and the members were invited to inspect the gifts which had been unwrapped and we,re displayed on a table. The Benediction brought a most successful afternoon to a close, not the'least part of the success being the filling of two large eases with gifts and the sum of £4/15/3 handed in for the Medical Fund.
