The gaane 'between Hufct and V.M.C.A last Saturday resulted in a win for Y.MX2.A by 2 goals to 1. The match from start to finish was keenly contested. The local 'men were first to open' the scoring from a scramble in •front of the goal. After several s-hots nat goal by the Hutt men, Jmbd was sueicess£ul in scoring. Hutt 1, Y.M.O.A 0. •The score was unchanged at half time. Soon after play resumed V.M.C.A were successful in opening their account with a good goal. Hutt 1, V.M.C.A 1. Play ■thereafter "took on a great pace, both sides' backs playing at the top of form. Y.M^C^L forwards, after a good com-ibined-movement., were successful in again scoring wit& a good gal.
