HUTT CENTRAL SCHOOL.

A ' second opportunity to "elect school committees extended to householders by the Wellington Education Board was held on 26t'h May.

Only five householders were present at the- Hutt Central School, the only nomination received being .that of Mr. E. W. Biggs. On the chairman calling for further .nominations, a householder drew attention to' the fact thai another eight "victims" were required, while, there were but five eligible people present. further nominations resulted, and it will be necessary to appoint'a commissioner to look after the interests of the school.
