Messrs F. C. Remington and1 H. T>. Grocott, J.P.g presided at the sitting of the Lower Hutt Court last week.

Biding a bicycle on the bitumen road cost Cecil B. Hodgins, Stuart Richardson, A. Chapman and J. Deller each 5/and basts.

Bernard Hopkins, W. F. Hornig, Ivan, T. Bergess and AY. Nesbit were each fined £2 and costs, for exceeding the speed -limit: S. A. Whittaker and Sidney K. Kirkcaldie were each fined £3 arid costs for a similar offence.

James Sheridan, who pleaded guilty to two charges of speeding was fined £2 and costs on the first charge andr convicted and discharged on the*.second.

J. Smith, for riding a bicycle on the new bridge without a light was fined ss. and costs. .'; ; A
