■Separate the sausages* drop theni into a saucepan, of'boiling, salted water and simmer for half -hour with the lid on. Lift from saucepan, skin each sausage and put* into a'colander to; drain and cool. Make a good short pastry, roll and cut into sin. squares, place half a sausage, split length; wise, on one half, sprinKie with salt and fold the other half over iti Pirfc>h edges, brush over with milk and bake 20 minutes in a hot oven at first, then reduce heat.
