At the Lower Hufct Borough Council meeting on Monday evening the enginj eer (Mr. Bush) repented that a visit was. paid by the Medical Officer of Health and. the 'assistant inspector to a Maori dwelling in Waiwetu road/ it being discovered that a large family was occupying a small sked which had been erected without, a building permit. The Medical Officer decided that.the structure was unfit for habitation and that the Council should refuse to grant an occupation permit.
