During -last winttei', a very successful series of instructional classes in public speaking was "held under the leadership of Mr. W. P. Rollings, of Weliing^on. At the final meeting of the session, it was decided to eaJl a public meeting in May with the idea of re-a'ssenrbling tihe class. A public meeting for this purpose will be held on Tuesday evening next in the River Board Office) when Mr* Rollings will be present.

•Great interest was taken in the class last year and many interesting subjects /were dealt with. All the old supporters -have expressed'theiT willingness to again, join and it is expected that many new members will take advantage of this valuable course of instrueti on during the coming winter months.
