That the -dancing public is sincere in its eagerness for an early resumption of the Association Dances was proved by the very large crowd which attended the Grand Easter Dance in the

King Gcor^o Hall. As always, tnany newcomers were welcomed, but a large number were patrons who have regularly attended-the -Soccer Club's dances. —patrons who r by t-heir frequent at : tendance, show their practical appreciation of the excellent management iaa--Cier. which these dances are run.. Strange ly enough, both Monte Carlo dances were won by young ladies from Fetone —Miss Pollocly being the lucky recipient of a -handsome salad set, while Miss Mutinier won a pretty silver and china cake dish; their partners received equally acceptable' prizes. ' The spotlight, being temporary out of order, a, torch dance was substituted. Torch lights were shown upon the dancers from various vantage points and iMs innovation apparently proved very popular as itvwas warmly applauded several times. -.-...

The Association dances are being held every fortnight. .' A specal attraction for Saturday, May 3rd, will be a bal-loon-shower and this should prove very entertaining as the "balloons will be of various shapes and sizes.
