it was a very interested group that watched the opening" of the money boxes. All kinds of games woTe indulged in and tea and cold drinks were served on the lawn. T«he work of Dr. Barnardo's Homes I with which this league of children is connected, needs no eoniment as it is well known all over the worlds and the fund will be benefited by ar .substantial sum-as the result of the box opening paTty. Seven new members were enrolled.
