The Taita Plunket Sub-committe© held its .monthly meeting 6ii Tuesday, March. 25th.. T&ose present included Mesdames Foley (president), A, Burgess, ;E. F. Fuge, W. M. Jackson, I. Wilson, I, McArthur, F. Kitchener und F. B. Martin (hon. secretary).
The s nurse's report * was read and. showed the following flguTesi-HPTew ; cases, 2; visits of "babies, 16; adults 22; pldei' children 18; visits to ..homes 5./ >- 'As a result of the Shop Bay held, in Lower Hutt'on ISlareh 7th, a little over £20 -v^as handed to the Central Committee. This was considered a very gratify ing result.

portunity of tendering their thanks to all "those who-so kindly helped to make' the Shop Day a success. A very hearty vote of thanks Saccorded to Mr. Howlett for his, practical help and it was felt that the wonderful response mef with from the residents, of Taita proved- the interest that was taken in the efforts, of the Plunket. Society.
