Mr Hobbs said that he was sorry that lie was not prepared to support the rate referred to by Mr Anderson. He was not convinced that the existing rates had been unsatisfactory to the board.
Mr Barber said that he rather sympathised with the previous speaker, but in view of Mr Hollands expert statement that the consumers would ultimately benefit by the new schedule he was not prepareci fo vote against its adoption. The chairman's motion was carried.
