WEDDINGS.

V On Februal'y 26th, at the -Methodist: : Church, t»he wedding was solemnised of Madge, daughter of Mrs and the late Mr. H. Wheeler, and Claude, soii of Hrs and the lace Mx Elliott. The Eey. C. H. Olds, was the officiating minister, and Mr. Hoiman was at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her' brother, Mr. Fred Wheeler, wore a gown of pink lace over, georgette, with long sleeves, and the uneven hem was of net. She wore a posy " of-orange " 'blossoms on her shoulder, and a pink veil. ' Her bouquet was .of 'pink roses and carnations, maiden-hair fern and lyeopodium, the bouquets of the blidesmaids being similar. /The bridesmaids were. Miss MaTJorie Feeny (chief); arid Miss Kelly, both of wihom wore delphinium hive .chiffon frocks^ trimmed'with hand made roses. The-duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Ernest Bolt, while Mr Seddon* Elliott was groomsman. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a rkinestone-necklace, and to the bridesmaids, gold armlets, -vhci reception was held in the Lyceum Hall, where Mrs Wheeler received her guests wearing black silk, with "fawn fissue, and black hat, and her bouquet was of' tiger lilies, roses and maiden-hair fern. The efster--ing' was in the capable, hands of ''The Eegal." At.the reception, Well's or^ chestra from Wellington, played deligit fully. The bridesmaids were Ruftfh Wallis, sister of .the bride, and :-a tiny flower girl, Ruth Wishnosky. —as Wallis's frock was of pink georgette, with double flared skirt and bouquet to tone, while the small flower girl wore powdered blue. .georgette with rose-ftmcl trimming and posy to tone. -Mr* A, Wardlow carried out t&e duties of best man. Ensign Parkinson, assisted by Ensign Smith and Lieutenant Giood, performed the ceremony,-. and Miss Wishnowsky was at the organ. At the reception, Mrs Cahill, assisted by Miss Eva Wallis, received the guests, and later Mr and Mrs Cahill left by car for the north, the bride wearing. & champagne and brown costume, brown felt hat, and brown fur—the gift of the bridegroom. • .

After the ceremony .a reception was .held at the bride's home, Mrs Gaudin receiving hex guests in a frock of black crepe-satin, with maize pleatings edged witia Jhenna,^ and her hat was of black v'elour with qsprey trimming, her-bou-quet toning with, her frock.
