STREET NAMES.

Sir,-I sec in your paper that some of the well known roads in the Hutt are going to have, their names altered. I have lived for many years in a wellknown road and object very much to having its name altered, and having my address, street, telegraph and telephone numbers changed, and the bus time-taible altjcrgd; but that is only a small part of the - trouble and annoyance that the change would cause to the Postal, Telegraph and Telephone officials, and many subscribers, for one naturally looks up friends, tradespeople etc., in the Telephone Book. . If, a change had to be made why was it npt done 'before the new issue of the Telephone Book for the year came out.—l am etc., . . : *'
