SALE OF SECTIONS

Messrs H. Ernest Lei-ghton Ltd., auctioneers,, Teport tshat at the sale conducted by them in conjunction -with MessrsMaclaren arid Nisbet, of the Ans'on Estate, Main Eoad, there was a good attendance of buyers, 12 sections being sold at t>hefollowing prices' and realised, a total of £4085,- or an average of £340/8/4 a section. Lots 35 and 36, facing the main road, brought £.750 and £600 respectively. Prices secured for otli«>r sections facing/the new roadway, Trinity Avenue, were as follows; —Lot 31, £400; Lot 11, £290; Lot 33, £280; Lots 9 and 10, each £265; Lots'2B, 27, 30 and 29, each £250; Lot 8, £235.
