ANNUAL PICNIC
HUTT RAILWAY WORKSHOPS
There was an exceptionally large attendance at the third annual picnic of the above which was held at Maidstone Park, Upper- Hutt, on Saturday 15th February, and despite the unfavourable weather conditions towards the latter end of the day the committee put'through, the whole programme of events , with three exceptions. Apologies were received* from His Worship the Mayor.of Betone, the Hon. Minister, for Bailways (Hon. W. B. Taverner) and the General

ling). In the unavoidable absence of the Works Manager (Mr A.. P. Walworth)y'Mr J. Graham . (Works Foreman) assisted by Mrs Graham, jpr.esented the prizes to the following successful contestants in tlie various events.
