AT^put forty guests were present at a very happy evening recently given for Miss Hunter (-w&o is shortly to be married), by her atmt, Mrs E. HunteT The time passed very pleasantly, Miss Gunn charming those present with dancing and elocutionary items. Tihere vwerenumerous competitions and games, and dancing was indulged in, the drawing room, dining room and hall all being utilised for this purpose, while those who felt inclined played cards. The linen gifts comprised d'oyles, guesttowels, and. table cloths, even the gentlemen friends contributing their share!
