AN OUT-OF-DOORS ENTERTAINMENT.
All the finishing touches have been given to the pTepartions for the Grand Garden Party which is to be held in the,beautiful grounds of Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Patrick, Wainui Boad, on Saturday afternoon next. SmAlex Roberts, K.8.E., wilf open the proceedings at 2.4^ p.m. Tie ground v will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The many "games at which sTrill, and patience is required will be in evidence, and capable persons have charge of. them. Competition is keen amongst" the .various stall holders to display their useful, tasteful, and beautifal-,goods, and will.give all the prospective buyers the assurance of their utmost attention.
-The children, who are to be admitted free, will have lots of fan when riding the "Douglas" pony. • .

The Lower Hutt Municipal Band will be in attendance, and thus add to the pleasure of 'a great, but-6f - door entertainment.
