OloTious weather favoured the annual competition for the Duthie Gup whicJi was played on the Hutt Club green on Thursday last, when Wanganui again proved too strong for the local players. The following-are the results:t--

Norris/the club's president. .Mr. Hendry congratulated Wanganui. on their, splendid performance and called upon Miss M. Hodgin3* to make tsie presentation to 'tne \\ skip of the "Wanganui team, Mr. J. Foster. Mt.'.E.J. Hillspoke on behalf of the Wellington Glub arid said how much his teams had eiijoyed the games .which h&d been so closely contested. Ho congratulated the winners and led the party in singing 'llor They Are Jolly Good Fellows."

Mr. Foster of Wanganui' replied and thanked the ladies- for what, they had done tor make the day so enjoyable. ,
