A NEW ATMOSPHERE.
That a fuller knowledge of the atmosphere may assist in the control of disease is revealed by i>r.J. "Willa*} Hers&by, who has been studying the part rare gaees play in normal life. He claims: to have made air different from anything man breathes, which "will support life in white mice more effectively than normal atmosphere, in one experiment helium was substituted for th» 78 per cent, of nitrogen. As, far as could be seen ti£e"white mice were in\.a. \»righter, more active and healthier condition than incn<Mg^BuL air. The nice were also tested in axu atmosphere of 25 per cent, orygen and 75 per cent aigon.
