The tweKth annual North Island tournament just concluded at Lower Hutt, &as been one of the most successful ever held by the N^ew Zealand Croquet Council. After such unsettled conditions the weather was delightful for almost the whole time and it was only' necessary to cease play late one af tern ion on account of rain. The surroundings of the various greens are all so picturesque that visitors have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their stay. It is good fox Lower Hutt that there have been visitors from all parts of New. Zealand and all are agreed that they will ... be very happy to come again when another such event takes place.
