A. very, quiet -but .pretty evening wedding was recently solemnised at the i residence of the bride's parents, when Thomas Vivian, eldest soil of Mr and Mi-s Vivian dlen don, of Penrose Street* was married to ShciW Melntosh, eldest daughter oit Mr and Mrs ' Alfred > E. Milne, bf-Ludlam Crescent.■■■• The Rev; J. E.. Lopdell, M. A., was the officiating clergyman, and the wedding music' was supplied by Mrs, Wilfred Legge. The'bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty dress of. white erepe-de-chene, 'and worej. a veil with a wreth of orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful bouquet of shell-pink carnations, sweet peas,* and maidenhair ■fern. Miss Hazel Clendon, who aete*d a« bridesmaid, was dressed charmingly, in pale pink, and also eatried a "beautiful, bouquet. Mr. Arthur Clendon, the bridegroom's brother, was best man; After* the reception, the happy couple left for a motor four of the North Island
