NECESSITOUS CASE,
The' loyalty. of footballers towards their club mates is one of the strong features which permeate t&e social atmosphere- of probably ' every football club Ma the country!, At the present time the members of the Htitt Rugby Football Club are muei concerned for the'welfare, of one of their followers who -has fallen on very ill days. As a result of an injury received, on t!he football field about two years ago the member: in. question- played subsequent to the . accident with: the Tesult that the injury slowly' became more' acute and he now finds himself in. hospital, w-here he is likely to remain for some considerable time. Jn the meantime his wife .is obliged to seek casual work in order to provide for the home and her three young" ehildxen. When the football season opens it is the intention of the club officials to organise benefit matei.es in" order to raise' a-little' money but in the meantime the family is in _ great need of help and..the secretary of the club is confident that when the case ,beex)mes kngwn there-will be liberal offers of help from members and supporters of the club, Mr C. : D-d----ding, Ward Street, telephone 139, will be pleased to supply any further information p,nd to receive subscriptions towaTds this necessitous ease which will be acknowledged through the columns of this paper.
