COTTON WASTE.

■ Cotton waste is a most useful item to have in the kitchen. It saves butnt and scorched hands and does away with, a lot of laundering of kitchen clothes and rubbers. It is cheap to buy. It will wipe up grease, mop up spilled liquids, rub down the top of a stove on which saucepans have boiled over, and save the hands touching greasy tins^ There are many other uses which suggegt themselves, and it • is burned after serving its purpose. The saving in time and labour is obvious. ,
