HUTT RIVER BOARD ELECTION.
The River Board election which was i held on Tuesday created aii unusual ! amount of interest. The main • issue centred round the ..question of whether ox no Gear island should be made available for the use of aviation in combination, with golf. Never in tiiehistory of the Board has such a heavy poll been recorded, but unfortunately a certain amount of confusion entered into the election through the publication of an anonymous ticket containing sever names and many electors votiag for more than the required five.
