The combined Wairarapa bands from Masterton, Mar^inboroughj, Cartcrton, G-reytQwn . and Upper Hutt will open with a grand massed bands parade in Maidstone Park at 3 p.m. An excellent programme has been arranged, and given fine weather it is 'expected that is*ge numbers of people will avail themselves of the opportunity to combine the pleasures of a picnic nvith a visit to the bancl demonstration. A collection will be taken up to defray expenses and any, surplus will be for the benefit of the Upper Hutt Band.
