The* Pu.reii.Ls' Committee of the 3st Lower Hutt* Group Boy Scouts are" bringing to, a close a very successful ( series of '"f£>OOf and dance evenings on Saturday next, 16t»h November, with a j Children^ Plain and Fancy Dress Dance to" ho teld at tlie Scoi^; Hall at Z p.m, and numerous collfeetion of good prizes >tvSII be given for the best costumes, .fancy, original and'paper, according t"d the ages of the children. I This function is to be opened, by 'the J President, His- Worship tihe Mayor, ivho -, in conjunetipn Trith Lady Eoberfcs will conduct the judging.
In the evening the aggregate -prizes for '.'soo', 7 will be presented and a^ final card evening will'be held^ together with a Carnival Night in the dance-, room at which the Veaiing of flannels will be optional. Novelty dances, good prizes" and good music.
