BOARD.

A round-table .conference between the Hutt River Board and representatives of various sports bodies in connection of the leasing of Qear Island was held on Tuesday "night: "-The chairman of Jhe Board, Mr, W. T. Strand, presided.

The chairman' spoke of tiro unanimous desire of the Board" to do all possible to bring-. about the -setting, aside of this area for sports purposes. He then invited the representatives of the sports bodies to view the matter from every angle.

H^>Ai gwan.).; the Wellington Hpekey Association (Mr. S.
