SHEARER'S ENLARGED BUILDING
Emerging from a mass of timbers end bricks,' like Phoenix from the Asaes, the new enlarged building of Messrs JJ. Y. Shearer Ltd., is now talking definite . shape. Alt-hough it is still- too early to appreciate the best features which will be embodied in this fine store, sufficient is already revealed to suggest a shopping centre worthy of a large ami growing suburb.
The new shop fronts will be very imposing and up-to-date in every respect. All the latest display tie vices will be adopted including island show cases, modern lighting effects, and novel window trims. Thus tire window displays, which for some time have received very favourable comment, will, with the betteT facilities now afforded, provide an even greater attraction giving residents every opportunity of inspecting tiite latest fashions. In all twelve windows will be availaible.
A grand opening display will intrbduc<J tlic new building to the public very shortly. The event will be await cd with, interest".
