WEDDING.

The bride, • who was escorted by her father, wore a period frock of ivory silk net, ankle length, with a tight-fitting -bodice and a full skirt composed of. fout frills, edged with narrow white satin ribbon; and trinuned with, bunches of tiny ipink" roses. ■ The long bridal veil of lace, which' was lent by a friend, was ar--ranged with a, becoming coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of fresias, azalias, and sweet ,peas. In attendance as bridesmaids were • Mias Winnie Tait (sister), Miss Phyllis Tan-' ncr (coxisin), and Miss Mabel Jollands. They were - dressed respectively in frocks of apple green, parma violet, and 'salmon pink silk net; with small tight-fitting bodices and full petalled skirts falling to the knees in front and ankle length at the back." T&eir large felt hats were of the same shade as their frocks, and they eaTried bouquets of, anemonies, roses, and sweet peas. The'bouquets were a special feature. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Basil Wright- as best man, and Messrs Grange Waterson and Victor Tait as groomsmen. \ Following the ceremony a, reception was' held, at St. James's Hall, where about 160 guests weTe present. Mrs Tait received her guest 3 wearing a frock vof saxe blue lace drooping at-the sides and caught in front with a diamante buckle. With this she wore asmart* black ' hat. She carried a bouquet of pink camclias arid cyclamen. Mrs.- E, <3c. Wright, who acted for Mrs {Jeorge Wright, wore a frock of black silk velvet .and gold tissue, and- carried a bouquet of autumn tints.' The .'bride's travelling dress, was a French nio.del frock of navy blue and green -figured satin with hat to tone and a musquash fur coat.
