TKe programme opened with a pianoforte duet by the Misses Wardlowanl" Millington who weie recalled.. . Mr. Flanagan's fine baritone voice was ihefird to advantage in a Maori War song,.' ' Comati, '^ and ~" Eliding Home Again;?' both" numbers beiiig encored.The play without words, . entitled -' ' Visiting the Theatre;. before, and after marriage," and acted, by Miss Haasell and Mr. Erie'Lind, paused much, amusemieirt. youth was made apparent in the first instance^ whilst the -econDmy iiecessaTy in married life was very well depicited in the second act; '•■ Mi3s Carte, as <» eommedeinne convulsed her audience with two very clever numbers. Tiie" Misses J. Gillies and M..Bia*iop performed a Dpateh clog dance very cleverly and were recalled. The play •entitl-'.-ed "The Best Gure", was very successfully acted by the Misses Ellis, Jollands, HanseH, Lee and Mr: Eric Lind. A comedy: in two acts "Uncle Podger" depicting f the pater familias hanging « picture, caused a "great dear, of amusament, those taking part being Mr E. G-.. House as ■Uncle-Podger; Miss Ellis, as Aunt Mafia; Miss G. Hansell, as maid, 'Mrs Grracie Henderson7 as ehairwomaiij whiist .the Misses E'ilis and Mawson and A-r-G-. Featonby, A. House, M : .
