To the Electors of the Borough of Lower Hutt.
Ladies and Gentlemen,- —
At the request of a large number of ratepayers I have consented to offer myself as a candidate for the Borough Council at the forthcoming election.
For some seven years I was Wellington Branch Manager for a larg3 Commercial Concern and to-day I am in business on my own 'account in- tCio Capital City. During my term of Management in "Wellington I was for some four years Chairman of the Wellington ■Wool Brokers Association andv.was delegate t» the New Zealand Association at every' meeting of that body during tke period. I have therefore a fairly wide awd successful business :experience to offer you, and have come forward as I realise that the land speculation aad general policy of the present Coiincil requires drastic changes. If elected you will find that I .will delve most thoroughly into the financial position of the Borough "and will insist on more business-like methods being employed with a view to the early return of rates to normal. All the property I own is situated, in the Hutt Borough so that my interests are yours, and having said that I feel .that I can safely leave myself in your hands.
Youts faithfully,
1 R..G. ANDERSON,
