Amor burst one of his feet whilst running in the Wellington Cup. Eapine pulled up sound after his races last week. Eoyal Duke will be dangerous the first time he appears under a light weight. Night Lad was, under offer at 1000 guineas during> the Trentham meeting. | The North Island lightweight X.. Voitre will probably ride at the Dunedin Cup meeting. ■ Historic would be a good horse to put by and keep for another year to strengthen his frame. After Singer was sold at 285 guineas' the buyer refused an offer of 100 guineas on his bargain. ,The American-bred stallion Mohawk was sold for 5 guineas last week. He was grot with one bid and no one seemed inclined to dispute the right of ownership. • It is understood that Laughing Prince will be given a chance of winning the Wanganui Cup. Papatu and Aussie will in all probability make the trip to Dunedin this month. After a let-up Bulolo is ' again in work and it should not be long before he is again making his presence felt in hack rares. Abbot's Delight is progressing well as a hurdler. Lady's Boy is at the top of his form. He is one of the most genuine horses in commission. Count Cavour is working well and he is gradually on the improve. Eapier is going along steadily in his work. Nightmarch had an 'unlucky run in both his races last week.
