We regret to record a painful accident that, happened to Councillor A. Grierson, of Lower Hutt, at the Petone Workshops last week. Mr. Grierson was working with sonic cast iron when a large piece fell'and badly crushed his foot. After receiving medical attention he was taken to his home by the
ambulance,
