PERSONAL.

Mr. L. E. Robinson has been visiting Palmerston during the week-end.

Mr. Frank Warnes is visiting Gkrist-

church.

Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Hayward have returned from a visit to their daughter, Mrs Leahy, Napier.

Mr. 6. Woodward has been the week end with his mother.

Mr. John Sladden is visiting his home in Lower Hutt.

Mi and Mrs W. E. Saunders, of Dower Hutt, are on a visit to Palmerston North.

The work of decking the western approach of the Pipe Bridge lengthwise has been completed, and the new planks have been tarred and sanded. The improvement, as compared with the ;Kiting cross planks which have hitherto served is a splendid one, and motorists are grateful to the authorities who carried out the work.
