TRENTHAM CARNIVAL
FIRST-CLASS TALENT ENGAGED.
The Spring Carnival of the Wellington Racing Club will be hold at Trentham on Saturday and Monday next. Excellent acceptances have been received for the opening day.
The iirst race each day is timed to start at 12 noon.
Cashier and Battle Colours are nicelyhandicapped for the Wainui Handicap.
Helotis and Consent will be a source of danger in the Shorts Handicap. Vexatious and Beaumont are a pair of consistent perf orcners engaged in the First Hurdle Handicap. Head Serang and Clever are expected to make a bold showing in the Taita^ Handicap. Mooregas and Teri are likely to be in keen request for .the Bimutaka Handicap. Francolin and First Money look the best of the two-year-old brigade engaged in the Wellesley Stakes.
