LODGE MEETINGS.

The annual meeting of Court Bloomfield No. 7879 A.0.P., was held in the Court Room., King George Theatre on Monday night, Bro. J. E. Salt C.E., presiding, All the officers were present and there was a good attendance of members. Two members declared off the Sick Funds of the Court, and three declared on. ; After the usual routine business of the Court had been concluded, the Chief Ranger invited Bro. J. J. Punnet, District Chief Ranger, to take the chair. Bro. Dunnett complimented the Court on the progress made during the past year and hoped that it would be maintained in the new year in which they were entering. Congratulatory speeches were f also given by other officers of the District - Court. Bro. J J. Doran was then installed as Chief Ranger for the forthcoming year by the D.C.R., and who in turn nstalled the following officers: —S.C.R., Bro. A. Anderson; S.W., Bro. T. V. Doran ; J.W., Bro. F. G. Vereoe; 5.8., Bro. T.-R. 11. Austin; JJB., Bro. H. E. McDougall; Secretary, Bro. F. W. Murphy; Treasurer, Bro. "S. Knight. After the conclusion of the ceremony of the installation of officers, appreciative references were made by the officers and members of Court Bloomfleld of the paternal interest taken by the District Officers in their Court and their action in attendance at the annual meeting. After the formal closing of the Court all the brethren adjourned to the Cosy Lounge, where a dainty supper was partaken of. After a number of toasts and speeches a very pleasant evening was brought to a close.

Bellevue Lodge, No. 126 1.0.0. F., Lower Hutt, held its fortnightly meeting on Monday, the 10th September, when Bro. Gandy N.G., presided over a very good attendance. Several amounts of sick pay and medical refunds were passed for payment and one candidate was initiated. The second nomination of officers for the coming term was taken, after which the Lodge was closed and supper was njoyed by all present.
